For the first time in its history, Govt. Model Engineering College, Kochi, will serve as a platform to facilitate interaction between startups and potential investors. Conducted as a part of EXCEL, the annual national-level techno managerial symposium of the college, this event is essentially a 3 way, interactive discussion between people with ideas, people with capital and people with curiosity.
Presenting ‘Untitled’, a one of a kind venture by Excel 2015. With the inherent message of ‘Make your own story’, this event is for those who wish to engrave their own story in stone. Delve into the unchartered territory of the entrepreneurial world, on a quest for knowledge and inspiration. Tune in as we bring to you the chance to interact with and learn from the best as they help you realize and title your own voyage.
The first session will showcase the stories of five shortlisted startups who have carved out a niche for themselves. Listen as they narrate the stories of how they first walked on the streets of the entrepreneurial world, their sources of inspiration, their failures, the decisions that changed their journey and so on. They will provide irrefutable proof that hard work and determination, coupled with an innovative idea, can take the world by storm.
This will be followed by an enlightening session where established entrepreneurs and specially invited guests share their success with the audience. They will offer expert advice on things to watch out for, tips to overcome obstacles and how to keep a positive attitude.
The event will conclude with a networking session where students and investors among the crowd, interact with startups on potential venture providing valuable exposure to the startup community. Investors get the advantage of being associated with the potential trend setter of the future and the startups gain mentorship, guidance and capital. Furthermore, the participation of students will allow them to gain valuable exposure to the startup community.
