Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organization playing a proactive role in India’s development process.
Global Entrepreneurship Week (www.gew.co) supported by the Kaufmann Foundation is the world’s largest celebration of innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities. Young Indians(Yi) is the official partner of GEW in India.
Yi Chandigarh Tricity Chapter is celebrating this spirit of Entrepreneurship by conducting a Pan-India Startup Expo as its flagship event in partnership with Indian School of Business, Mohali. The 2 day Start-Up Expo will provide a platform for 50 innovative startups and SME’s across different sectors to get in touch with thousands of its potential customers and investors. It will also provide an opportunity for the young entrepreneurs to learn about the entrepreneurial techniques that established businesses have used to become successful in their journeys, via workshops and small group sessions.
Our confirmed partners for Start-Up Expo are IAN, NASSCOM, Kauffmann Foundation, Indian School of Business and Global Shapers.
We are inviting applications from the best Startups across India.
