Google Sheds Weight

While Google one one hand continues to make acquisitions to expand its growing media (online video), on the other hand it is also shedding its weight by trying to sell of their failures. News today is that Google finally found a buyer to take over its abandoned radio advertising business.

WideOrbit Inc., a privately held San Francisco company that makes software for the broadcast TV and radio industry, said today it has agreed to buy (for an undisclosed amount) Google’s technology for automating radio ad placement, including Google Radio Automation, Maestro and SS32 automation products.
