    Now is a great time to be an enterpreneur in India.  More and more VCs are keen on investing in India. IT and  Telecom sectors have  already  established familiarity among  VCs through  attractive returns . Other sectors like Healthcare, Infrastructure and Energy are now gaining visiblity among VCs.
     
     One such VC is Siemens Venture Capital (SVC) based out of Mumbai . SVC has already invested in over 100 startups in Europe and USA. Its goal in India is to identify and fund emerging and innovative technologies  in areas  like Energy  and  Environmental  Care, Healthcare, and Automation and Control.

    I am looking at VCs active in India along with their focus areas. I sure hope entrepreneurs find this info useful. Feel free to send in your inputs to  rakeshsaba@yahoo.co.in
