Our first love, burrp! gets a facial and puts more oomph. It is now even more irresistible.
We've requested Meenakshi Goveas, a user of burrp! to tell us what she thinks about the new and beautiful burrp! and here is what she has to say:
Powerful search features, ability to further refine and sort the results while sporting a very neat and clean UI - that's the new burrp! What I like most about it is that it now presents the already well structured information in a more powerful and informative way to its users.
On the new search feature --
The new search now sports two tabs - "what" and "where" - and allows users to look for their favorite cuisine or restaurant by locality (eg. "Indian" in "Koramangala" or "Bombay Post"). Once you get the results, the application lets you further refine the results by rating, business type (lounge, bar, restaurant etc.) and cuisine type. For instance, find restaurants that are higher than 4 stars, are fast food joints and serve South Indian food. You can also sort the results by rating, price and number of reviews. Cool, eh?
On the new UI and rating system --
Their UI, as usual, is very clean and uncluttered. Their rating system has changed from 10 to 5 - simplifying is always good.
Her final verdict --
Overall, I love it. There is a lot of information out there, but presenting it in a way that users get the most out of it is the challenge. Burrp's new release delivers on that promise.

A great UI always helps and is a good way to create a lasting impression. But for user retention what matters the most is the quality and accuracy of the content. I hope BURRP is taking that into consideration.
